According to Henrik Gebbing, the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Finoa, “We’ve been supporting the NEAR ecosystem since day one, and are excited to work with the Meta Pool team to further enable institutional participation, growth, and decentralization of the network.”

This collaboration will allow Finoa users to receive up to 9.65% APY by staking their $NEAR and wNEAR assets using Meta Pool.

As of writing, Meta Pool operates 67 validators, with its Total Value Locked (TVL) comprising 8.4M NEAR assets (worth $24M).

In the words of Claudio Cossio, the Co-Founder of Meta Pool,

“For institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals with specific needs, we know Finoa is delivering, and that’s why they are a key partner for us.”

Once users deposit their NEAR tokens on Meta Pool, the platform provides an equal amount of Staked NEAR (stNEAR) tokens which can be used for lending and borrowing on DeFi platforms. Thus, the stNEAR token allows users to maintain the liquidity of their staked assets.

Finoa provides staking services for nine cryptocurrencies, including Audius (AUDIO), Flow (FLOW), and the recently added NEAR Protocol. The platform also offers custodial solutions for over 185 tokens.
