Data freshness
How current the numbers are, and what happens when a provider goes quiet.
- Refresh cadence
- We re-poll provider rates every 5 minutes. Most assets and providers update on that cadence; some sources publish less often and are refreshed as soon as new data is available.
- What "last updated" means
- The freshest provider observation we hold. It reflects the most recently confirmed rate in the dataset, not a page-build timestamp.
- Delayed or missing data
- When a provider goes quiet, we keep the last confirmed rate and timestamp it, rather than guessing. Stale observations are surfaced with their age so you can decide whether to trust them.
- Live and historical
- Live rates plus 7-day history on the free REST API, and up to roughly 5 years (1,825 days) of history on Pro.
