Bitcompare is operated by Blue Venture Studios Pty Ltd, located at 12 Avoca Street, Bondi, NSW, 2026, Australia.
By accessing or using our websites, applications, and services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms establish a legally binding agreement between you and Bitcompare. We may revise these Terms at any time, with notice via an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use our Services. You warrant compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws.
3. Account Registration
Certain features may require account registration with accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining password security and must report any unauthorized access immediately.
4. License & Use of Content
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal or internal business purposes.
Prohibited activities include:
- Copying, modifying, or reverse-engineering services
- Using automated scraping or bots (except published APIs)
- Removing proprietary notices
- Any unlawful or harmful use
5. Intellectual Property
All content, software, trademarks, and data are owned or licensed by Blue Venture Studios Pty Ltd. No additional rights are granted beyond what is explicitly stated in these Terms.
6. User-Generated Content
By submitting reviews, comments, or other content, you grant Bitcompare a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use that content. You warrant ownership of all rights and non-infringement.
7. Third-Party Links & Services
We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for third-party content or practices. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and that party.
8. Disclaimers
Our Services provide information for informational purposes only and do not constitute investment, lending, trading, legal, or tax advice.
All Services and data are provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose.
9. Limitation of Liability
Bitcompare shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability is capped at AUD 100.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Bitcompare and its parent company from claims arising from violations of these Terms, violations of law or third-party rights, or use of the Services beyond permitted scope.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for violations or any reason without notice. You may close your account through account settings. Certain provisions survive termination.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of New South Wales.
13. Severability
If any provision is found invalid, it shall be severed while the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
14. Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
